City Breaks by rail
One of the most convenient and comfortable ways to experience a European City Break is by rail using the Eurostar services from London direct to the heart of Brussels, Paris, Lille and beyond. The Eurostar services now depart from the new terminal at St Pancras. This allows direct access to the UK's first high speed rail link to the Continent making a trip to Paris easy with a journey time of only only 2 hrs 15 mins. The journey times to Brussels is only 1hr 51 minutes and to Lille only 1hr and 20 mins! The new location at St Pancras is well connected on the Tube and will reduce connection times especially to the travelling from the north.
In addition to the new terminal at St Pancras, Eurostar has also commenced operations from a new station, Ebbsfleet International, which is located near Dartford in North Kent, just off junction 2 of the M25 and close to the Bluewater Shopping Complex. This station will have over 9000 car parking spaces!
